The city of Monheim am Rhein offers companies a wide range of possibilities for further development: Today, 8,000 square metres of commercial space for immediate development is available for purchase. Two revitalisation projects will provide an additional 70,000 square metres of space in the years to come. And three developers will create about 30,000 square metres of office space by the year 2024.
In the past ten years, a good 400,000 square metres of commercial space has been made accessible; a large portion of which has already been marketed. The Montag-Stiftung Urbane Räume (foundation) recognised the Rheinpark commercial site as a model European project. The location appeals with its decisive advantages in terms of urban development while offering companies of all kinds a high-profile venue: A water axis with its sophisticated design connects the properties directly with the banks of the Rhine River while the catering establishments on the Monberg hill attract guests with their unique Caribbean flair combined with a traditional beer garden atmosphere. Although most of the existing office space is already used in the Rheinpark, there are still units available every now and again.
